Very friendly bartender! There's an authentic connection between this place and the original Schlitz recipe but their version is not exact, and isn't trying to be. Very good but not exact. I would describe it as a clean dive bar that brews their own beer but serves other brews and alcohol too.

Awesome dive bar in the heart of Excelsior Springs. This unimposing bar features pool tables, TVs, and a collection of vintage and contemporary beer signs. They also brew their own beer, in house, on a one barrel system. The beer is great, and I recommend trying their Belgian dubble. If you ever find yourself in Excelsior Springs, Mo be sure to stop by the Atlas to wet your whistle.
